The ASEAN Dengue Day 2025 programme, organised by the Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ), was successfully held on 15 June 2025 at Apartment Idaman, PJU 10, Petaling Jaya. This community-centred initiative aimed to raise awareness on dengue prevention and to foster active community participation in efforts to curb the spread of dengue.

The event was honoured by the presence of several distinguished guests:
🔹 YBRS. Tuan Haji Mohamad Zahri bin Haji Samingon, Mayor of Petaling Jaya
🔹 YB Puan Pua Pei Ling, Ahli Dewan Negeri for Bukit Lanjan
🔹 Tuan Aznan bin Haji Hassan, Deputy Mayor of Petaling Jaya
🔹 Puan Dr. Jamiatul Aida binti Md Sani, District Health Officer of Petaling District

The programme recorded an encouraging turnout of over 300 participants from the local community.

A series of activities were organised to promote awareness and engagement, including:
✅ Gotong-royong
✅ Children’s colouring competition
✅ Treasure hunt
✅ Educational exhibitions and awareness booths on dengue prevention

As one of the participating exhibitors, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) for the kind invitation. We are hopeful that meaningful initiatives such as this will continue to strengthen collaboration between local authorities, private sector stakeholders, and the community in the collective pursuit of a healthier, dengue-free Petaling Jaya.
